1:55.4M $174,081, out-of-a Garland Lobell mare.
We bought McCoy as a 2 year-old
from Celebrity Farm in Goshen, New York. He was about as
big at 2 as he is now- so we didn’t race him as a 2
year-old. For a big horse, he now gets around the half
and five-eights tracks just fine however.
Currently racing at Rockingham
Park, N.H., this 4 year-old Trotting Gelding earned
$30,508 in only a few starts as a 3 year-old in 2007 New
York Sires Stakes races. He was 2nd on a sloppy track
December 13th, 2007 at Freehold.
We brought him with us to
Florida and raced him lightly (every other week) at
Pompano in January and February this past winter -
placing 2nd in 1:58.3f on January 16th, 2008; and 3rd in
1:59.3f on February 13th, 2008.
McCoy was given some,
well-deserved, time-off and turned out at our Farm in
Florida in March and April and has trained back stronger
and racing better than ever.
This nice looking and
well-mannered trotter has a GREAT attitude, has never
had any lameness or other issues, and should go on to be
a GREAT Open Trotter for most (small or large track)
venues.
We’ve sold or given away all of
our pacers, but still have too many horses and need to
continue cutting back.
